Have you ever seen a movie and while watching it, developed such an intense crush on the main character that you feel like your heart is going to completely explode into ten thousand pieces? I had the wonderful opportunity to speak with Evette regarding her adult film work, how she first got into the business, and her many upcoming projects.

Courtney Fathom Sell: So when did you first begin getting into the world of adult films?

Evette Chevette: I’d say about 2 years ago. I was at a crossroads with what I was wanting to do with my life, and the option of adult films seemed like something I wanted to dabble in.

CFS: Did you ever have any hesitations about beginning your career?

EC: I remember the first time Lexi took a picture of me sucking his cock, my only stipulation was that he promised not to put the pictures up on the internet. hahaha. I was scared of my family finding out mostly. But soon after I found myself posting naked pictures of myself and loved the feeling - never looked back!! Other than that, I was pretty happy with my descision since I was diving in with the man that I love.

CFS: How has your family reacted to your work? Do they know?

EC: Yeah they know. I am an only child, and my parents are super religious, so it made the whole situation a hell of a lot harder. Actually, my parents disowned me and moved to Mexico. Hahaha, yeah i’m not joking.

CFS: Understanding that you work exclusively with your boyfriend Lexi, did that help to ease you in to working in the industry?

EC: The comfort levels between me and Lexi are what make being part of the adult entertainment industry fun and worthwhile. I am a firm believer in the motto “if it’s not fun, i’m going home” and doing this work with Lexi guarantees that I will have fun and be comfortable on set. He is my best friend, and working with your best friend always makes things easier!!

CFS: While viewing a lot of your work, you seem to always have such a joyful and positive presence - something you don’t always see in adult films. Do you feel that the relationship you are in and working together with Lexi helps determine your positive outlook?

EC: For sure! When this whole adventure started, one requirement I made for myself was to make sure I always was positive on set, because you are right, it is something you don’t always see in adult films. And when the actors genuinley look like they are enjoying themselves, then it’s a whole lot sexier and more appealing! As I said before, it’s all about comfort, and if I’m comfortable, then i will be happy on set. He see’s more of what’s going on with a directors eye, and he will let me know if I should change this or that, and when you know you are working as a team for the best product, then it’s hard not to be positive.

CFS: Could you describe the first time you working on a film? What was it like?

EC: The first scene I was ever filmed in was a blow job scene with Lexi. It was so much fun!! It was in the comfort of our own living room with a good friend as camera man. It was exciting, but never scary. Giving Lexi a blow job while looking into a camera, imagining hundreds of people watching was such a rush. I knew it was something I could do.

CFS: How does a film production begin with you? Are the shoots spontaneous or planned out beforehand?

EC: It goes both ways. We try to plan out scenes beforehand, so we can be time effective and get the best content. For full sex scenes, we definitley plan ahead, figure out angles and shots, and get helpers for lighting and camera work, etc. However, there are lots of times when we will just be fooling around, and Lexi will bring out the camera and we are off to the races. These spontaneous ones are more “blow job department”.

CFS: Is there anything you won’t do in a film?

EC: I don’t do shit or vomit. hahaha. If i will be working solely with Lexi, I will consider anal, but not with any other stud. I also am not the kind of girl to get on a bus and get fucked by random guys… not my style.

CFS: Have you ever worked on a film without Lexi?

EC: Define without… anytime I have done any filming, Lexi has been present. There have been scenes where Lexi was directing not acting, and we had another guy come in.

CFS: I have heard that in the case of many adult entertainers, the girls are usually unable to “get off” during the shoot? Is this the case with you?

EC: For me, this is not about the sex but it’s the work for sex. I want to make the scene so good and mind blowing that when people are watching it they can’t help but “get off”. It’s not about my pleasure but about those who are watching it. It feels great, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t let my mind get caught up in the sex, I try to stay one track minded, keep it as hot as possible. That being said, I believe the last scene I shot with Lexi (a full hardcore scene), was a firecracker!

CFS: Has any of your work been professional distributed yet?

EC: No not at this point. So far everything that is out in the world for Evette Chevette has been put out by yours truly via the internet. What a wonderful tool!

CFS: How do you feel knowing that hundreds of guys are getting off to you?

EC: It makes me giggle. It’s pretty awesome thinking that people all around the world are getting hard to my pictures!! It gives me confidence when I step out, knowing that at least someone out there in this big world is thinking about me right now. Do I ever get freaked out? Yeah, but that comes with the territory. The human animal is a scary thing, but I’m not going to let that stop my dreams and goals.

CFS: Are you more comfortable working in the gonzo genre, or would you like to move up to larger ‘studio’ work?

EC: I am comfortable, but I do want to move up to a larger studio when the oppertunity arises. I am not one to step back from exciting avenues, and I think larger studio work will be in the near future for me. At this point in time, I’ve taken a liking to Vivid Alt and have had talks with their master director Eon McKai. If i was to step into anything on a “bigger” level, I’d be most comfortable with them and their people. However being a Canadian citizen it’s not always easy to get the opportunity to work for the bigger American production houses.

CFS: So what’s next on the horizon?

EC: First and foremost I am working on the launch of thevettechevette.com. This site will encompass everything Evette Chevette. It will have a free section, with my non nude photos, my art, my music, etc. And will also have a fully adult side where I will have all my hardcore videos and photos. This spring, both Lexi and I will be working with Out Moniter Studios on a b-horror movie filming out of Nashville TN. And we are working like mad on a clothing line coming out with original Evette Chevette designs. It’s pretty busy here at our little apartment office, but it’s exciting as hell!!
